Variety Details

Talus combines pink grapefruit and citrus with rose, pine, sage, tropical fruit and a distinctive woody-floral character. Moderate alpha acids allow dual-purpose use, but whirlpool and dry-hop additions best express its intricate aroma. It is well suited to pale ale, IPA, wheat beer, saison and contemporary lager, especially in blends that benefit from grapefruit and floral lift.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
