Variety Details

The sensory profile of Ekuanot spans lime and other citrus, tropical and sweet fruit, papaya, berries, herbs, green pepper and fresh-cut grass, making lot selection and dosage especially important. High alpha acids allow dual-purpose use, but late-kettle and dry-hop additions reveal its greatest aromatic range. It fits IPA, pale ale, American wheat beer and other modern styles that can carry a bold fruit-and-herb combination.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
