Variety Details
Tettnanger offers delicate flowers, soft spice and wood with cream-caramel, herbs and restrained citrus. Low alpha acids favor late-kettle and finishing use, although traditional repeated additions provide smooth, integrated bitterness. It is ideal for pilsner, Helles, Kölsch, wheat beer, bock, saison and Belgian-style ale.
Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
