Variety Details

Sterling provides noble-like herbs and spice with citrus, flowers and a light woody character. Moderate alpha acids make it more flexible than many traditional noble hops, supporting both clean bittering and late aroma. It works well in pilsner, Helles, Kölsch, wheat beer, Belgian-style ale and balanced American lager or pale ale.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
