Variety Details

Northern Brewer offers woody and resinous character with mint, herbs and a restrained evergreen note. Moderate alpha acids make it a traditional dual-purpose hop capable of firm bitterness and subtle late-hop flavor. It is well suited to steam beer, porter, stout, English and German ales, bock and darker lagers.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
