Variety Details

HBC 1134 c.v. is an experimental hop from the Hop Breeding Company (HBC) developed with modern lagers in mind. It brings a distinctly American take on classic noble character, layering floral and herbal notes with hints of rose, pine, and light grapefruit. Along with solid agronomics and clean bittering potential, HBC 1134 is a strong option for brewers looking to put a fresh spin on contemporary lagers.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
