Its aroma is soft and complex, combining earthy and grassy tones with sweet fruit, currant, citrus, herbs and flowers. Low-to-moderate alpha acids favor aroma, finishing and gentle all-kettle use. It is particularly effective in pilsner, Helles, Kölsch, wheat beer, bock and other traditional German or Central European styles.
