Variety Details

Hallertauer Magnum is prized for clean, neutral-to-gentle bitterness, with secondary mint, pepper, cedar, orange, cream and herbal-resinous notes. Its high alpha acids and good agronomics make it primarily an efficient early-kettle bittering hop. It is broadly useful across lagers and ales whenever brewers want dependable bitterness with minimal interference in the finished aroma.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
