Variety Details

El Dorado is known for sweet stone fruit and green fruit—especially cherry, pear, peach and watermelon candy—along with citrus. Its high alpha acids can provide efficient bitterness, while whirlpool and dry-hop additions emphasize its candy-like fruit expression. It is widely used in pale ales, IPAs, wheat beers, blonde ales and fruit-forward lagers.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
