Variety Details

East Kent Golding offers delicate honey, floral and lavender notes with soft spice, earth, tea and restrained citrus. Its low alpha acids favor late-kettle, whirlpool and traditional finishing use rather than highly efficient bittering. It is especially appropriate for English bitter, pale ale, porter, stout, mild, Belgian-style ale and other recipes where elegant balance matters.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
