John I. Haas, Inc., has been part of the Yakima, WA community since John I. bought his first hop farm in the Yakima Valley back in 1931. And we’ve been proud members of the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce ever since June 1, 1976.
At the annual Chamber Awards, which were held on October 22, 2015 to recognize businesses and individuals who work here, John I. Haas, Inc. was honored to be named the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce’s “Business of the Year.”
The Business of the Year Award recognizes the superior performance of a business in the Yakima Valley based upon the company’s role in leading the business community, the strength of the company’s workforce and leadership team, as well as its history of recognizing and seizing market opportunities.
