Australian Adventure

From March 10-17, Haas and Hop Products Australia will be hosting a group of U.S. Brewers including Crux, Odell’s, Avery, Saint Louis Brewery, Karl Strauss and MillerCoors to observe and celebrate the Australian hops and brewing culture first hand. Several brewery visits are planned, and while in Melbourne the group will join other Australian brewers to spend an evening at the Malt Shovel Brewery hosted by its famed Aussie brewmaster, Chuck Hahn. Of course, the travel schedule includes time with Hop Products Australia (HPA), the southernmost arm of the global Barth-Haas Group, with visits to Rostrevor Hop Farm in Victoria and Bushy Park in Tasmania. There will be plenty to see with hop harvest in full swing. A picnic on the river, the nightlife of historic Hobart, and a cruise on the river will provide a fitting end to a memorable trip and an enhanced knowledge of the Australian brewing and the HPA operations.
