TRADITIONAL SELECTION

Brewers contracting a minimum of 5,500 lbs of qualifying varieties and products are invited to take part in traditional hop selection. This time-honored, hands-on sensory evaluation allows brewers to assess the fresh crop and tailor their pellets for the upcoming year, ensuring each lot meets their unique brewing needs.

NEXT GEN SELECTION

With a minimum commitment of only 220 lbs per variety, Next Gen Selection opens the door to brewers of any size to take part in the selection process and reap the benefits of a sensory-driven, data-supported platform for hop procurement. Next Gen is a great way to ensure consistent hop profiles throughout the year and avoid the guessing game when buying on spot. Learn more about Next Gen Selection.

EXPERIENCE LONGMIRE

Our newest facility is online and ready to welcome you. Visit the beautiful Longmire Ranch and see our state-of-the-art picking equipment nestled in the hillsides of Wenas, WA. Learn more about the Longmire Ranch.

PELLETIZING PLANT

Our renowned pelletizing facility is designed to produce various hop pellet products from classic T-90s to efficiency-boosting LupoMAX®. This temperature-controlled warehouse produces hop pellets that perform exceptionally in the brewer’s kettle as well as in dry hopping applications

INNOVATIONS BREWERY

Our brewing team is always putting our products to the test, creating incredible beverages from innovative products like Incognito®, Flex®, and Euphorics™. Take a tour and sample the latest from our Haas Innovations Brewery and their fully custom Esau Hueber brewhouse. 

 

EXPERIMENTAL FIELDS

Hops Academy

Haas Innovations Center in Yakima, WA

Choose from four sessions: Sept. 16, 18, 23, 25; 9am-1pm

Round out your trip to Yakima with some education at our renowned Hops Academy. Hops Academy Beer Pairing Dinner

Saturday, September 20, 5:30pm-8pm

Join Haas Sensory Scientist and Advanced Cicerone® Rikki Welz and Chef Jacob Garland of Tandem Unicycle for a delicious and educational evening in the picturesque biergarten at the Haas Innovations Center.

These pairings are designed to increase your enjoyment and appreciation for the delicate dance of food and beer pairing as Rikki and Chef Jacob take you through various considerations and practices to learn how the various components of each course all work together.

This instructional dinner is a celebration of all of Yakima’s bountiful harvests, featuring local ingredients and beers from the Haas Innovations Brewery just steps from your table. Seating is limited, so be sure to invite your friends and grab a table ASAP!

HAASTOBERFEST

Tuesday, September 23, 5pm-9pm

Hops aren’t just for IPAs*! Join us as we transform the Haas Innovation Center into a classic Oktoberfest-style biergarten, with beers featuring the finest German and Czech hops, classic festival food, and live entertainment.

Come on out to the big tent and have a barrel of fun!

*Don’t worry, we’ll still have some IPAs available for you hop heads.

LONGMIRE OASIS

Longmire Ranch in Wenas Valley

Mondays & Thursdays 9/15-10/2, 2pm-5pm

Watch our hops go from bine to bale at the beautiful Longmire Ranch. Catch a free shuttle from the Haas Innovations Center every half hour to an oasis where yard games, snacks, and featured beers await you. Tour the facilities and hear from the Haas farm team, including our legendary agronomists and hop breeding experts.
