Our partner grower Hop Products Australia (HPA) have collaborated with a handful of celebrated breweries who are passionate about Aussie hops to produce a little book full of some very enjoyable beer recipes to help get your creative juices flowing, and demonstrate which aromas and flavors will show up in beer based on how and when their Aussie hops are commonly used.
Discover the origin story of Galaxy®, Vic Secret™, Eclipse®, Ella™, Enigma® and Topaz™, dissect their analytical data, and study their sensory profiles. Then get straight into some tried and true recipes from iconic Aussie breweries including Stone & Wood, Mountain Goat and Young Henrys, as well as legendary international breweries including Sawmill, Cellar West and Stone. Stone Brewing’s Steve Gonzalez said “Aussie hops are like nothing else. They add a lot of complexity to beer.” You can find Stone’s Ella™ IPA recipe on page 12, right after Mountain Goat’s Ella™ Hefeweizen recipe and immediately before Shambles’ Ella™ Porter recipe.
