Variety Details

Mistral combines citrus and sweet fruit—often grapefruit, kumquat, pear and melon—with floral, herbal and lightly spicy notes. Moderate alpha acids support dual-purpose use, though late-kettle and dry-hop additions best express its bright fruit. It works well in saison, Belgian-style ale, pilsner, pale ale and IPA where French elegance and New World citrus can meet.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
