Variety Details

Hersbrucker delivers delicate herbs, flowers and spice with menthol, soft citrus, hay and gentle woody notes. Its low alpha acids make it most useful for late-kettle additions, finishing and traditional all-kettle hopping where restrained bitterness is desired. It is a natural choice for Helles, pilsner, Kölsch, wheat beer, bock and Belgian-style ale.

Beers and Pellets were evaluated using our Sensory Plus™ Trained Panel. Beers were dry hopped in a standard 2-Row Pale Ale at 2lb/barrel for 72 hours.
